Sebastian was recently seen racing in the Race of Champions which took place in Sweden. He lost out WRC legend Sebastian Loeb in the finals. Vettel was a teammate with Mick Schumacher for Team Germany.

The four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel has become known for his off-track actions in recent years. His traditions include naming each one of his cars.
Vettel started his Formula 1 career with BMW Sauber. He even set the fastest time in the Friday free practice. He was the then youngest F1 driver to participate in a Grand Prix weekend. Vettel was just 19 when he achieved this feat. He was then released by BMW Sauber to Red Bull’s Toro Rosso.

Sebastian Vettel’s first full-time season was in 2008 with Red Bull. However, since then Vettel has chosen different names for every car he has driven. There was an assortment of names during his Red Bull days, ranging from Luscious Liz to Kate and Kate’s Dirty Sister.

When Vettel made a move to Ferrari in 2015, the choices of names reflected the team’s Italian roots, with the first being Eva. Margherita, Gina, and Lucilla were amongst some of the names he used for his cars. It was a disappointing end to his Ferrari career.

A new chapter in Vettel’s career began in the 2021 season. He then made the switch to the newly- named Aston Martin outfit. Vettel kept in mind the brand’s links to the James Bond franchise as well. He named his car Honey Ryder, a nod to the Bond girl played by Ursula Andress in the 1962 film Dr. No.
Vettel now enters into his second season with the team in 2022. The question still remains over what he will choose to call the AMR22.
