Formula 1: Drive to Survive RENEWED by Netflix for 2 more seasons
The new season will once again take fans behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2022 and 2023 championships. The series will offer never-before-seen footage and interviews from the sport’s biggest names.
The long-awaited fourth season of Netflix Formula 1 Drive to Survive was released on March 11th, 2022. It gathered a lot of success for its first three seasons and even popularised motorsport, helping the sport gain more followers.
Because of the success of Netflix Formula 1 Drive to Survive, it has gained huge momentum in the States as well. People have started following the motorsport much closely.
Formula 1: Netflix renews DRIVE TO SURVIVE for Season 5 & 6
In Season 4, there was intense action throughout, with McLaren taking the only one-two finish of the season at Monza, Hamilton storming through the grid in the Sao Paulo Sprint and Grand Prix, Esteban Ocon winning out in Hungary, Sergio Perez winning out in a dramatic Azerbaijan GP and of course, Verstappen taking his maiden F1 title.
Last year will be remembered for a long time in Formula 1. It saw one of the all-time great title fights between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. A 22-race intense battle that went till the last lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Season 5 will definitely have the battle between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen and the likes of Sergio Perez, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell could be at the heart of it.
