Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton targeted with vulgar and explicit messages: The seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton was targeted with vulgar and explicit messages from a McLaren employee. The McLaren Formula One group has promised to examine noteworthy social media posts that have been made by a representative that considered Lewis Hamilton a ‘p****’ and a f***ing ‘w*****’.

The staff member supposedly conveyed a line of harmful posts about the seven-time Formula One champion from their now-deleted private Twitter and Facebook accounts.

The first abusive texts originated in December 2020, when Hamilton tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and needed to finish a 10-day quarantine prior to returning for the race. The abusive texts went like, “What a f***ing w***** he truly is! Couldn’t stand seeing someone do well!”

Hamilton was replaced by his present partner George Russell at the Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain. Russell drove for a large portion of the race before the Mercedes pit team fitted some unacceptable tyres to his vehicle, which resulted in the young brit to finish 10th on the grid.

The employee likewise purportedly answered ‘f***ing p****’ to a tweet from the official Formula One Twitter account in which Lewis Hamilton was also tagged last year.

When Hamilton was granted a knighthood, they composed: ‘Oh f*** off! For having the fastest car on the grid. What a w*****.’ Also, when Hamilton was precluded from qualifying at the Brazilian Grand Prix in November last year, the staff said: ‘F***ing get in!!! F*** off you p****.’

Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton was knighted last year in December.

When the tweets became visible on Friday night, the official McLaren F1 account answered: “We consider these comments to be completely at odds with our values and culture at McLaren. We take the matter extremely seriously and are investigating it as a priority.”

Each of the worker’s private social media accounts seemed to have been suspended or deleted as of Saturday.
