Formula 1: Mercedes’ driver Lewis Hamilton at risk of mission out on incredible F1 record: Mercedes driver and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton is at risk of missing out on an incredible F1 record of winning at least one race every year. The start of the 2022 season has been appalling for Hamilton, who feels the Silver Arrows have not improved their 2022 W13 challenger at all. Follow Formula 1 Updates on InsideSport.IN.

The British driver has won a minimum of one Grand Prix every year since he originally broke into F1 in 2007. However, this record looks in danger as he continues to struggle for pace in his W13 challenger.

Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton has won atleast one race every year since 2007.

Hamilton has finished on the podium just once this season, and that too was because of Red Bull’s mechanical problems as both of their cars had to retire from the Bahrain Grand Prix. Following that, he had a horrible Saudi Arabian Grand Prix where he finished tenth.

After the Miami Grand Prix concluded, a visibly dejected Hamilton said, “Unfortunately we are at the same speed as we were in the first race. We haven’t improved in these five races but I am hopeful, we have to keep trying and keep working hard.”

Hamilton says he has been compelled to adjust his driving style now he is fighting for points in the midfield as opposed to directing the speed out in front. Having ruled the sport for such a long time, this midfield battle is something the man from Stevenage has not experienced in a long while.

“It’s still racing, just a different perspective, a different point of view. You want to try and go forward but it is difficult when you are not going forwards. It is what it is but it’s an experience for sure,” Hamilton concluded.
