Hansi Flick is currently the head coach of Germany but he failed to deliver. The German team has won only four games out of the last 16 games which is a concern. They had disappointing exits in the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Klopp was talking to the Athletic about his future plans and said, “The job of national coach is and would be a great honour — there’s no question about that. The problem that stands in the way of the whole thing is my loyalty. I can’t just leave Liverpool now and say I’ll take over Germany for a short time. That doesn’t work and the request isn’t even there.”

The Liverpool boss added on leaving Anfield in 2026: “If I’m supposed to do that [manage Germany] at some point, then I have to be available and I’m not currently. I have a responsibility towards the club. Basically, it’s an interesting job. But I don’t know yet whether I’ll do something completely different after I leave Liverpool. I want to keep my options open.”

Jurgen Klopp is currently one of the best managers in Europe. He transformed Liverpool and set new milestones after coming from Borussia Dortmund. The German boss guided Liverpool to the Premier League title after a wait of 30 years. He won the Champions League title in 2019. In 2022, he won the EFL Cup and FA Cup trophy.
