WATCH: Sergio Ramos shows off special talent, sings a verse in a Spanish song

Ramos has dipped his toes into the world of music with a collaboration with Los Yakis.

Sergio Ramos has never shied away from the spotlight, and although things haven’t been going his way at the Sevilla this season, that hasn’t stopped him from making a mark elsewhere. This week, Los Yakis, a musical trio, dropped a new single titled ‘No Me Contradigas,’ which simply translates to ‘Do Not Contradict Me,’ and no one but Ramos has a verse to go along with it.

Ramos has dipped his toes into the world of music with a collaboration with Los Yakis. The song is meant to be the sound system for celebrations and family get-togethers. In this song, not only does he share the studio with the band, but he also takes over some verses, showing off his singing skills.

According to Los Yakis, Ramos did not use autotune and sang the entire flamenco-influenced song solo – as he looked like an Andalusian. He was in the zone, and he’s been a fan of this band for a while.

In the past, the band have said that they started following Ramos on Instagram, where he liked their songs and videos, and from there, a friendship grew. He has attended their concerts and performed with them on several occasions.

According to El Confidencial, the band has previously said that not only does Ramos sing well, but that he is better than many of the artists who are making hits in Spain. They have also said that they are willing to do more songs with him in the future, and when he retires, it would not be surprising to see him continue to be part of popular culture in some way.
