Social media users shared a video of Fabinho exiting the stadium and being stopped by a single fan. The man then gave the Brazilian a Rolex watch, which was gratefully accepted by the former Reds player as he travelled home.

As he accepted the present, Fabinho grinned warmly, but as soon as he started to leave, he dropped the watch. However, a brief inspection revealed that there were no scratches, so the Brazilian thanked the supporter and continued on his way.

After joining Al-Ittihad, Fabinho penned an emotional message to Liverpool, ‘In these five years, I grew as a player, as a man, I made dreams come true… Thanks to Liverpool, I played in the best stadium in the world, with the best atmosphere in the world, which is Anfield.
