Unprecedented! Al-Ittihad offer massive £215m to Liverpool for Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah being pursued by Al-Ittihad as they prepare a massive bid to lure Egyptian to Saudi Arabia

Mohamed Salah: Al-Ittihad are not done pursuing Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool winger has been flirted with by the Saudi club for over a month now. So far though, Liverpool‘s stance has not changed. Mohamed Salah is not for sale. Not any amount of money can prize him away from Anfield. But, all that might change real soon. Even though the transfer window is shut in Europe, it is still open in Saudi Arabia. Now, Al-Ittihad are getting ready for a massive £215m deal for Salah.

Al-Ittihad preparing massive bid for Mohamed Salah

The Saudi club, Al-Ittihad reportedly made a startling £215 million offer to Liverpool on Monday night for Mohamed Salah. In an effort to convince Liverpool to transfer Salah this week, a Saudi delegation arrived in London on Saturday.

According to the Sun, the Saudi Pro League team is anxious to sign the Egyptian and has followed up a £150 million bid with a deal that will eventually cost a record-breaking £215 million in add-ons.

According to the report, Mohamed Salah has been given a £2.45 million offer per week with other benefits to leave Anfield. A win incentive of £55,000, a portion of jersey sales, and ambassadorial positions for three significant Saudi businesses have also been offered to him.

Salah could earn an additional £18 million from his ambassadorial positions, with each company prepared to pay him £6 million.

Jurgen Klopp firm on letting Salah leave

The public has received a loud and obvious word from Anfield and Jurgen Klopp in particular that the Egyptian is not for sale and is content at Liverpool. Last Thursday night, a bid of about £150 million was rejected, and the player’s performance against Aston Villa on Sunday demonstrated his dedication to the cause.

Klopp said, ‘I never had any doubt about his commitment. He is our player and wants to play here.’ Klopp was asked if Mohamed Salah had told him if he wanted to stay at Liverpool. Jurgen said, ‘No. He didn’t tell me, but he didn’t have to. He speaks with his training and performances and behaviour. He is completely here and if Dom said that, fine.’

However, the Saudis are still pushing for the deal because they think Mohamed Salah would be willing to join Al-Ittihad.

Some in the Saudi camp have stated that if there is no sign of joy by Tuesday, they may draw a line and alter goals. Their deadline expires on Thursday. Others, however, are adamant that they will persevere.

There was a very real prospect that Mohamed Salah’s old adversary Sergio Ramos would be at Al-Ittihad also. But the Spain veteran has joined former club Sevilla.
