UEFA Champions League Final 2022: Kickoff Delayed – The delay of the much anticipated UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid vs Liverpool has sparked a major uproar among the fans and the supporters. The kickoff to the game was potentially delayed for around 36 minutes. The official reason being explained was the late arrival of the fans in the stadium. The practice time of both the teams was cut short after reports claimed that more than 15000 fans and supporters have illegally entered the stadium. On the other hand, the fans with the tickets outside the stadium started protesting against the authorities.

With things taking an ugly turn outside the stadium the police were dispatched and soon enough, tear gas and pepper spray was used to disperse the crowd. Fans with tickets present outside the stadium continued their protest and showcased their original tickets.
The UEFA and the other relevant authorities were severely criticized for their mismanagement and received taunts all over social media. Further chaos erupted when the kickoff was further delayed for 9 minutes.

However, lastly, the organizers managed to resolve the situation as the kickoff took place at the new scheduled time. Before the kickoff, pop star and singer Camilla Cabello performed which greatly entertained the crowd.
