Conte currently earns £14.30 million per year from Spurs and has asked PSG to double his wages. Given that money has never been an issue at the French club, it is expected that they will sign Conte and hence, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has already started planning for life without Conte.
Interestingly, Levy is planning to bring back the very same manager that PSG are looking to sack – Mauricio Pochettino. This seems to be a strange decision as Spurs themselves sacked Pochettino not very long ago, and the reunion is likely to elicit mixed reactions from the fans.
