Kylian Mbappe has emerged the latest football sensation as the teenager fired France to the FIFA World Cup 2018 title triumph. The 19-year-old Kylian Mbappe’s great benevolent gesture following the  FIFA World Cup debut and heroics will make his millions of fans fall in love with this teenager, who is already being hailed as the next big thing.

If his on-field superlative performance lacked anything to make him the darling of the football lovers across the globe, Kylian Mbappe has made an announcement to part with all his FIFA World Cup 2018 earnings for charitable causes.

Mbappe’s stupendous show during the month-long gala has earned him the FIFA Best Young Player Award for the World Cup 2018 in Russia. The wonder boy has scored four goals during his triumphant journey in the World Cup.

According to a Sports Illustrated report, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward will donate his World Cup windfall, estimated at $500,000, to the Preiers de Cordees association, a charity that provides children with disabilities opportunities to partake in sports activities.

Mbappe earned about US$22,500 for each of France’s seven World Cup matches, plus a bonus of around US$ 350,000 after Les Bleus won the title with a 4-2 victory over Croatia. However, the young star has vowed to refrain from splurging it on luxuries and goodies and instead donate it to the charity that provides sports activities to hospitalised and disabled children.

Mbappe has reportedly first joined the charity in 2017. Sebastian Ruffin, Premiers de Cordee’s general manager, called Mbappe “a great person” in a brief interview with the French publication. “We were made aware by the entourage of the player and his family a few days ago,” Ruffin said.

“We do not want to come forward, because the bonus would be paid only in case of qualification of the Blues in the quarter-finals, but we are very touched by the approach of Kylian. This is a very personal approach made by the player: We never ask for financial help from our sponsors.”

Mbappé came into prominence at an early age, starring for the youth academy at Bondy before gaining a move to Monaco, where he made his professional debut in 2015. Mbappé then quickly established himself as a regular goalscorer for the first team in the 2016–17 season, as he helped the club gain their first Ligue 1 title in seventeen years.

Mbappe then moved to PSG a year later for €180 million, making him the most expensive teenager, and the world’s second-most expensive player. In his debut season in the French capital, Mbappé led the team from the front to win an exquisite triple sundae of domestic titles including Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Coupe de la Ligue.
