- Spurs have a few injury concerns with Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic suffering from knee issues, Ryan Sessegnon nursing a hamstring injury, and Alfie Whiteman recovering from an ankle problem. Additionally Destiny Udogie also sustained a knock during their match against Fulham.
- With Udogie out, coach Postecoglou had to call up Ben Davies in the left-back position as a replacement. However, even Davies had to be taken off in the half-time with a blow to his ankle. The coach said Davies probably will not be able to play the match, but Udogie is progressing and fighting his best to recover for the match.
