Sergio Ramos ENCOURAGES Harry Kane to consider Real Madrid move

Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos wants Tottenham striker and England captain Harry Kane to consider a move to Los Blancos.

Former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos wants to see Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the Spanish capital. He has advised the Englishman not to deny the opportunity from Los Blancos. Real Madrid wants to sign the England captain this summer but Harry Kane is not considering this move.

Tottenham striker is currently among the top transfer targets this summer. Real Madrid have picked him as a potential replacement of Karim Benzema who announced his departure from the Spanish capital after a 14-year stint. He is likely to play for the Saudi Arabia club and the club has given an official update on his exit. Due to the departure of the Frenchman, Los Blancos is looking to fill the vacant spot and Harry Kane looks ideal option there.

Harry Kane will have a valuation of €100 million-plus if he signs for another club. Former Real Madrid star, Sergio Ramos spoke to The Mirror when asked about a potential move to Spain for the Tottenham striker, “My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win.

He also added, “He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game. But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that. Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”

Sergio Ramos recently played his last game for PSG and is a free agent now. He made a move from Real Madrid in 2021. The veteran defender won 22 trophies with the Los Blancos.

Ramos also talked about his former Madrid teammate, Karim Benzema who has decided to leave the club in the summer.

“He [Benzema] has contributed to so much success with Real Madrid you will never be able to replace him – he is one of those players who is unique in the history of Madrid. What you do need to do though is bring in a quality forward who can come in and score goals. Not everybody can play for Real Madrid as there is so much pressure and expectation – so it needs to be the right player.”
