The player has remarked that he can’t complain about his fitness journey back to the pitch. The 28-year-old is confident to be back in action for the German club sooner than first anticipated. However, Borussia Dortmund is yet to specify a timeline for Sebastian Haller’s return.

Sebastian Haller had helped Ajax win the Eredivise last season. The player has been prolific in terms of scoring and racked up a 34-goal tally for the Ajax side. His stellar performance for the Dutch side inspired Borussia Dortmund to sign the 28-year-old. He came into the German club’s squad as a direct replacement for their ace forward Erling Haaland.
However, the striker had been sidelined for the German side before being able to make an impact. Since the diagnosis, Haller has remained outside the squad. The Ivorian has made formal appearances in some of Dortmund’s matches.

Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder has said that the striker will remain with Ajax for now. Since the player has been rehabilitating in Amsterdam, the coach had allowed him to train with his former club. The striker is training on a different field for a speedy recovery.
