It is reported that Moreira is on trail with Barcelona’s Under-19 side, which is their Juvenil A side. Even though he is the son of possibly one of the greatest entertainers in World Football, there is no guarantee that he will be offered a contract. That decision is yet to be taken by the club.
The teenager had been plying his trade with the Brazilian club Cruzeiro since he was 14. But, he has recently rescinded that contract and is looking for a new club. Just like his father, he too plays in the forward line. He primarily uses his left foot and can play across the front line. His uncle Roberto de Assis Moreira oversees his career-related things.

Barcelona’s La Masia has been famous all over the world for their development of youth players. There is no place better for Moreira to work on his game and reach the top echelons of football, just like his father. Even in recent years, the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde, etc have come out of Barca’s academy and they are flourishing.

If Barcelona does sign him up, then it will be interesting to see how he fares. If he even performs at half the level Ronaldinho did, then we are in for some samba.
