The Frenchman has been warned that Los Blancos will move on to Man City star Erling Haaland if he extends his contract with PSG. The 24-year-old was recently convinced by PSG to play ongoing season.
Kylian Mbappe has been a primary target for Real Madrid but they found themselves on the losing side since PSG’s recent interference into the transfer saga. The Frenchman has been included in the first team after having positive talks with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. There is no talk for the extension and the report says Mbappe is planning to complete his contract. He will leave the club as a free agent in 2024.

Meanwhile, PSG found another twist in the story as they are keen to extend the contract of the Frenchman. They don’t want to leave him for free. It is believed a final agreement is still way off.
Due to the current scenario in this transfer story, Real Madrid are monitoring Mbappe’s contract. If the PSG forward makes a U-turn, Real Madrid will focus on Erling Haaland. Los Blancos legend Guti has warned that his club will leave Mabppe with PSG and focus on the Manchester City star. He also feels that Mbappe’s extension with PSG will show that the Frenchman is acting for money.
The Ex-Real Madrid star told El Chiringuito, “I want Mbappe to play for Real Madrid. Real cannot afford the luxury of closing the door to such a player. But if Mbappe extends his contract with PSG, it will show that he is acting for the money. If that happens, Real Madrid will have to opt for Erling Haaland.”
Real Madrid are still in search of a high-class striker since the departure of Karim Benzema who moved to Saudi in the summer. Los Blancos can play the entire season without a big name in the forward section. Ancelotti will surely plan for a replacement in the remaining days of the current transfer window. They will keep an eye on Mbappe and if he extends his contract with PSG then they will try to go for Erling Haaland.
