This incident took place on Sunday when Marta Silchenko, a 17-year-old golfer with amateur world ranking 234, was stuck in a lift alongside PSG players. Silchenko was practising on Paris’ Golf de Saint-Cloud golf course and prior to the incident, she had just finished her gym session.

In a massive stroke of luck, Silchenko found herself sharing an elevator with PSG superstars on her way back. Argentine icon Lionel Messi, French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe and Spanish defender Sergio Ramos were all in that same elevator and quite understandably, the amateur golfer could not resist clicking what has turned out to be a viral selfie.

PSG players had different reactions to Silchenko’s capture. While Messi and Mbappe both looked at the camera, Sergio Ramos curiously turned out to see what was happening behind his back.
Besides them, Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos also glanced at the camera with a smile on his face. Silchenko uploaded the pictures on social media with the caption “Casual day at the gym today! Just passed the best football players in the world in the elevator.” Notably, this picture was taken just before PSG handed arch-rivals Marseille a 2-1 defeat in the most anticipated match of Ligue 1, the Le Classique.
