Since he joined Manchester City at the start of this season from Borussia Dortmund, he has become a goal machine in the English league. As he just hit his 34th goal, he matched Alan Shearer and Andy Cole’s joint record of 34 Premier League goals in a single season. However, Haaland still has 6 league matches left to play.

There have only ever been two other players – Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano to achieve this feat in the Champions League’s history.
The record for most goals in a single season is 17 goals which is held by Cristiano Ronaldo. Manchester City still have two legs of the semi-final against Real Madrid. If they manage to progress, then they will have another match on their hand. This means Haaland probably still has 3 Champions League on his hand. Hence, he could break Ronaldo’s record this season alone if he manages 6 goals in the remaining matches.
