Kylian Mbappe Transfer Update: Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal have made a record €300m bid for wantaway PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. The 2018 World Cup winner with France, Mbappe has a year left on his deal with Paris Saint-Germain. However, the French champions remain convinced that the 24-year-old has agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer. Desperate for a fee, PSG has put the French forward on the market, hoping coup a significant fee for one of the best players in the world.

At least five clubs contacted PSG over the weekend to register their interest in signing Kylian Mbappe, according to reports. Among them is SPL side Al Hilal who have opted to act as a one-year stop-gap option. The proposal stands for Mbappe to join the club for one season, before seeking a dream move to Real Madrid. The Saudi club are however yet to hold talks with Mbappe or his representatives.

On top of Al-Hilal’s €300m offer to PSG for Mbappe, the Suadi club will pay the forward a salary of €700m for just one year. That equates to a weekly wage of €13m. For context, Ronaldo earns about €200m a year at Al Nassr. The contract would also contain a release clause that could see him get his dream move to Madrid next year.

PSG are already preparing for life without Mbappe. PSG president Khelaifi left him out of the team for their preseason tour of Japan. He has no intention of letting the 24-year-old leave Paris Saint-Germain for free in 2024.

Real Madrid came close to signing the Frenchman on a number of occasions and now are playing the waiting game. He has continued to be linked with the Spanish giants, though, and PSG believes he has already agreed to join them for free in 2024.
