It is understood that French giants Paris Saint-Germain also rejected the chance to move for the forward, who appears to have limited options. Cristiano Ronaldo was offered £250 MILLION megadeal to sign for a Saudi Arabian club with the unnamed team putting up £105m-a-year salary for two years, £25m transfer fee and a bonus for his agent.

Ajax had rejected United’s offer from last week of £42.5m including add-ons but are willing to accept a new proposal following lengthy talks on Wednesday and have already identified Lisandro’s potential replacement in Mykola Matvienko from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 25-year-old, who’s recently got engaged to his long-term girlfriend, loves life in Barcelona and has been on the record as labelling the Catalan outfit his dream club.
