The 31-year-old Belgian made light of the fact that his media duties prevented him from attending the celebration. Kevin said, ‘To be fair, by doing about 15 interviews when I got back to the dressing room, most of the team was gone.’

After the game, Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland were both spotted celebrating the win in the home team’s locker room. Kevin de Bruyne also spoke about the chance to play against a good team like Arsenal. He also spoke about how he relished the opportunity to play in the tactical role, which saw him make runs in behind against Arsenal.
Kevin said, ‘I think we’ve been playing well for months, winning most of the games. There is more space in behind with Arsenal as they go to man to man. That meant there was more opportunities for me to run into the space and get the ball. I think we created enough chances.’
