Man United Transfer: Manchester United hit roadblock as Atalanta reject the Premier League club's €35 million opening bid for Rasmus Hojlund

Man United have a limited budget to spend this summer. Hence, they will not be going all out for Kane or Osimhen. As a result, they have focused on Hojlund and presented their first bir worth £31 million. However, Atalanta have rejected the bid as they have made it clear that they will not be accepting any bid lower than £35-39 million. The Red Devils’ next steps are yet unknown, but they could bid again for Hojlund. He was asked about the prospect of being able to play for Manchester United.

Hojlund said, “It is a huge club, so I must have done something right if it’s rumoured they want me. We have to see what happens. As you see and hear, I imagine a lot could happen to quite a few strikers this summer, as many clubs are looking for a no9. Something will definitely happen there, and then we’ll have to wait and see if I am included in it… I have found myself in a really good place here (in Atalanta), so now we have to wait and see.”
