Man City’s Jack Grealish robbed, thieves loot £1M worth of jewellery from mansion

Man City player Jack Grealish's residence was looted, and robbers made off with £1 million in jewels while his family was there.

Jack Grealish, the Manchester City star, fell victim to a £1 million burglary at his Cheshire home while his family was present, watching him on TV. Grealish and his 27-year-old fiancée, model, and influencer Sasha Attwood, purchased the seven-bedroom mansion set in 24 acres last year but had recently moved in.

During a televised match at Everton, approximately ten relatives, including Grealish’s parents, grandma, two sisters, and brother, heard unsettling noises upstairs and frantic barking from the dogs. Fearing for their safety, the traumatized family activated ‘panic buttons’ and sought refuge. Grealish rushed back from Manchester City’s 3-1 win to console his family and was seen inspecting the surroundings near the £5.6 million Cheshire property.

Concerned about a potential hostage situation, police rushed to the scene, deploying a helicopter to scour the estate. Throughout Wednesday night and the following day, law enforcement combed the area on the ground and from the air in an urgent effort to apprehend the burglars.

Despite the property’s extensive security measures, the thieves managed to breach the premises and escape with £1 million worth of watches and jewelry. Forensic crime scene officers were observed leaving the property, and police conducted door-to-door inquiries with neighbors, hoping to find any CCTV footage that could aid the investigation.

This incident adds to a string of burglaries targeting Premier League stars, with West Ham defender Kurt Zouma having his property in Essex raided shortly before Christmas. In early December, an armed gang targeted Zouma’s home, making off with £100,000 in cash.
