Man City vs Arsenal: Judgement Day is here. The day that Manchester City and Arsenal fans have been awaiting for quite a while now. Manchester City will be hosting Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium in a cracking showdown in the Premier League. The Gunners have a 5-point lead over the Cityzens, but Guardiola’s men have 2 games in hand. If Arsenal loses this game, the PL title is as good as gone. Talking about the same, Arteta has instigated that he will ‘KILL’ his players if they show any fear in this must-win clash against Man City. Follow Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN

After playing superbly over the course of this season, the Gunners have dropped 6 points over the course of their last 3 games. Now, this Man City game becomes too crucial to lose. Arteta has already voiced his opinion that he will not be okay with his players showing fear at the Etihad Stadium.

Rival Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, thinks it would be “a problem” if the players were not anxious. After three expensive draws, Arsenal enters the match with a five-point advantage but knows they cannot afford a loss.

Arteta said, ‘I’ve not seen any of my players being intimidated by that challenge and if I do I will kill them because I don’t want that at all. The level of this match demands absolute perfection in every single ball and we have to deliver that in our performance. Going toe-to-toe with City has been great but it’s not enough and now we are in this position we are going to win it.’

Treble-chasers, Manchester City have gone 16 games without a loss in all competitions, City has two games remaining and appears unbeatable. His compatriot, Pep Guardiola said, ‘It is a good sign, being a little bit nervous. I know it’s normal. The problem would be if I didn’t have that feeling. Being anxious or scared is part of our lives. We don’t have to be perfect.’

Arsenal has lost their last 11 league encounters with City, but Arteta thinks the run of losses has given him reason for hope. Mikel said, ‘I am confident we can win because of what I have seen when we played against City in the past. Also what I have seen from my players all season and from the way we have prepared. We know this is going to be a massive game but it is not going to define our season because after this we still have five more fixtures.’

William Saliba out of this fixture

Erling Haaland, a 48-goal City striker, will be difficult for Arsenal to contain without William Saliba, a crucial defender who is once again sidelined with a back injury. Mikel Arteta confirmed the same as he said, ‘Unfortunately there has been no real improvement with William. We’re hopeful he can play again this season. We are preparing for this game without him and our next match against Chelsea will probably come too soon as well.’
