Lionel Messi: Lionel Messi joined the MLS side Inter Miami last month. He has since been on vacation following the end of last season. Inter Miami fans have been restless and extremely excited for the player’s arrival at their favorite club. It seems that they will get their wish fulfilled as the club revealed to reporters that there will be a ‘major unveiling event’ at their DRV PNK Stadium on July 16 at 8 PM ET. People have guessed that Messi will probably be unveiled on that date.

Lionel Messi was ready to leave PSG and go back to Barcelona. However, La Blaugrana’s financial issues and Messi’s choice to not go through the turmoil he went through previously when he joined PSG became the hindrance. As a result, he announced last month that he would join Inter Miami. Since then, he went to fulfill his national duties and then to spend his summer vacation with his family. Inter Miami managing owner Jorge Mas previously said that his debut match is set for July 21st.

However, he still has not been unveiled as an Inter Miami player. Now the club recently revealed to reporters that there will be a ‘major unveiling event’. They have not said anything about Messi, but people are expecting that the Argentine and his Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets will be unveiled during this event. Jorge Mas agreed that they are also chasing the two players’ former Barcelona teammate Jordi Alba. If they manage to sign him before the date, then Alba could be unveiled along with Busquets and Messi.

What will the event entail?

Inter Miami are ready to unveil their star signings Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets. There is a chance that Jordi Alba could also be unveiled with his former Barcelona teammates.

Where will the unveiling event be held?

The event will be held at Inter Miami’s home stadium, DRV PNK Stadium. Fans will probably be allowed in the stadium that currently has a 18,000-seat capacity.

When will the event start?

The club has conveyed the message to reporters that the unveiling event will be held at 8 PM ET. It’s yet unknown when fans will be allowed to enter the stadium. However, reportedly, media will be allowed to enter the stadium from 5 PM ET.

No TV Channel or streaming apps in India have yet acquired the rights to the unveiling event. However, this will probably be one of the most awaited events by fans.
