According to a fresh rumour, Lionel Messi is not interested in a loan move to Barcelona or Saudi Arabia. No winter move for Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi has his ‘whole focus’ on Miami and Argentina. He is preparing for a somewhat busy November, according to Fabrizio Romano. Messi is set to face Uruguay and Brazil in World Cup qualifiers after the end of the MLS season.

According to sources, Miami will go to China and Japan for a pair of postseason friendlies. According to TyC Sports, Inter Miami will leave on November 2 for the matches.

The games against Uruguay and Argentina are scheduled for November 16 and 21, respectively. Lionel Messi will then take a break in December before commencing preseason in January and the MLS regular season in February.

Marca earlier stated that Saudi Pro League authorities were interested in luring him away from MLS on a six-month loan. That would allow him to return to Inter in time for their 2024 season. Miami ‘may be willing’ to let him join Barcelona in January, according to Sport.

Prior to his historic move to Miami, Lionel Messi turned down a lucrative financial deal to play in Saudi Arabia. That deal would have netted him at least $400 million.

His rival Ronaldo opted to accept the country’s riches, putting pen to paper on a $200m-a-year contract with Pro League team Al-Nassr at the start of the year. Miami’s remaining league matches will be a home and road set against Charlotte October 18 and 21.
