Neymar has been ruled out of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League Group A clash with RB Leipzig on Tuesday with an adductor muscle injury, his club said.
PSG said in a medical bulletin on Monday that Neymar “had some pain in his groin since returning from international duty and will undergo more treatment over the next few days before returning to full training.”
The Brazilian was one of the players along with Marco Verratti inside the circle. It was always going to be a tricky challenge with the likes of Messi participating, but it was Ander Herrara who devised a surprise nutmeg on Neymar.
The Brazilian quickly shut his legs but he was too late and could only fall to the ground in embarrassment.
He quickly got back up and resumed playing, waiting for his chance to get payback.

Seconds later Herrera received the ball and Neymar rushed to close him down but was too slow.
He cared little however and kicked out at Herrera to ensure he was the one left on the ground this time around.
