Jude Bellingham equals Cristiano Ronaldo’s record in 4 matches for Real Madrid

Bellingham has scored in each game he played for Real Madrid in La Liga so far.

Jude Bellingham has been outstanding for Real Madrid in season 2023/24 and he has justified his role in just four games under Carlo Ancelotti. The Englishman has netted five goals in first four La Liga fixtures including the last-minute winner against Getafe on Saturday. With his winner, Real Madrid have strengthened their position on top with 12 points.

Bellingham made a summer move from Borussia Dortmund and made his debut last month. He also scored a goal in his debut game. The young midfielder has scored a goal in each game and set a new record. He matched Cristiano Ronaldo’s record with the 95th-minute winner for Real Madrid on the weekend. This record was taken by Ronaldo after he made the move to the Spanish capital from Man United in 2009.

The Englishman has already grabbed attention in his first season for Real Madrid. We haven’t seen the best version of English players in La Liga. This prestigious league is known for non-English players who become stars but Bellingham is here to break all the trends. This is fascinating for the 20-year-old as he comes close to Ronaldo who is a legendary figure.

Bellingham has scored against Athletic Bilbao, Celta Vigo, Almeria and Getafe. He had a brace against Almeria. 15 years ago, Ronaldo found the net against Villarreal, Espanyol, Deportivo la Coruna and a double against Xerex. It’s a similar start for the England international in La Liga. If he replicates Ronaldo then Real Madrid can target the La Liga crown this season. They have already made a solid start by winning the first 4 games.

Jude Bellingham has also helped Carlo Ancelotti who was worried about the departure of Karim Benzema. They needed a striker and their push for Mbappe also failed. Ancelotti still fixed out a new formation with two major strikers ahead of Bellingham. The Englishman is giving a scoring ability to Real Madrid. The Los Blancos would expect more from him as Vinicius Jr is also injured so someone has to take charge of scoring goals.
