Inter Miami Transfer: Inter Miami have already acquired Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets. However, they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon as they are now trying to bring in Jordi Alba and Eden Hazard. There have been rumours that they are trying to persuade Andres Iniesta as well. They have a Limited slot of three designated players in their team. Messi and Busquets will occupy two of those slots. Managing owner Jorge Mas has already confirmed that they are trying to bring in two or three more players.

Inter Miami have already made two of their biggest purchases this transfer window as they have brought on Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets. As per reports, they are also trying to reunite Jordi Alba and Andres Iniesta with their former teammates. Alba, who recently left Barcelona with Busquets, remains without a destination in sight. The same goes for Iniesta who recently left Vissel Kobe. All four former Barcelona players share a close bond, so Iniesta and Alba could actually be persuaded for the move.
Jordi Alba has spent most of his career at Barcelona where he stayed for 11 years. He made 459 appearances for the Spanish club and won numerous trophies with them. Among them, a few are one Champions League trophy and six La Liga titles. As one of the best left-backs of his generation, he had a strong understanding with Lionel Messi when they played together. That partnership could be revived if he decides to join Messi and Busquets at Inter Miami.
Alba has been linked with a move to Saudi following a plethora of players who decided to join the Saudi Pro League this transfer window. However, the Spain captain is yet to decide on his future. Similarly, Iniesta left Vissel Kobe only a few days ago on July 1. There have been no hints as to where the 39-year-old might go next. However, reportedly, Inter Miami are trying to persuade him to make a move to MLS. Similar to Alba, Iniesta also shared a close bond with Messi and Busquets.

However, it has been reported that Inter Miami’s primary target is now Eden Hazard. With one year still left on his contract, Real Madrid parted ways with the Belgian winger at the end of last season. There have been reports that Hazard is considering retirement and staying in Spain. He has already taken retirement from national team duties following Belgium’s group stage exit last year in the Qatar World Cup. However, the player is only 32 years old and still has some years of good football left in him.
After spending 7 glorious years at Chelsea, Hazard joined Real Madrid in the hope of earning the Champions League. He got his wish fulfilled in 2022 but struggled to get some playing time till the last day. Hence, there is still a chance that Inter Miami could still persuade him to join Messi and Busquets. The MLS club’s managing owner Jorge Mas has already said, “Two or three more players are coming.” While they have not confirmed that they approached Hazard, Mas said that they have been in contact with Alba.
