Indian Football Calendar 2022-23 – ISL 2022-23 Season Dates: The new season for Indian Football will begin on 13th August with Durand Cup. This will be followed by Indian Super League (ISL) season in October. The ISL Season will be followed by SUPER-CUP. I-League schedule has not been finalized yet. But it is expected that I-League will also run between October to March 2023.

ISL 2022-23 Season Dates: According to a report by TOI, the new season of ISL will begin on 6th October. It is worth noting that last year ISL had a shorter season due to Covid-19. The league was started on Nov 19 and culminated on March 20th.
In comparison the new season will be extended by almost 1 month.
- ISL 2021-22: Shorter League season form Nov 19th to March 20th
- ISL 2022-23: League will Kick-Off on October 6th & Finals is likely to be played on March 18th.

The report quoting sources claimed that the “Indian football season will kick off with the Durand Cup on August 13”
Durand Cup 2022 Schedule
- Durand Cup 2022 will be played with 20 teams
- 11 ISL, five top I-League teams will play the tournament
- Four teams will come from the Durand Cup organisers pool comprising Indian Armed Forces.
- The teams will be divided into four groups of five each.
- The seaosn opener will be played in Kolkata, Assam and Manipur
Indian Football Super Cup 2023: The Super Cup has been scheduled as a post-season tournament with the participation of 20 clubs.
11 clubs from ISL and nine from I-League will participate in the tournament. The Super-Cup will be played between April 1 and May 14 with an increased prize money.
This means in the new season, each ISL club to play a minimum of 28 games. i.e 20 in ISL, four in Durand Cup and four in Super Cup.
