FPL 2023-24: Top Captain picks, team selection of Gameweek 03 for FPL 2023-24

We have some cracking contests this gameweek and it would be the toughest week to find the best players for FPL. Bukayo Saka, Erling Haaland, Bryan Mbeumo and James Maddison are the preferred captain choices for this game week 03 fixtures.

FPL 2023-24: Fantasy Premier League – FPL Gameweek 03 team selection – Premier League action is back for the final game week of the month. The first two weeks were exciting where we saw some turnarounds but some top teams from last season continued their best run except Man United who failed to impress so far. This week will give fans some quality fixtures.

We have some cracking contests this gameweek including Brighton-West Ham and Newcastle-Liverpool. Luton Town will be back in action after not playing last week. It would be a challenging week to find the best players for FPL. Bukayo Saka, Erling Haaland, Bryan Mbeumo and James Maddison are the preferred captain choices for this game week 03 fixtures.

Fantasy Premier League 2023-24: Top Captain picks for Gameweek 03

One of the top favorites to pick up the armband for Gamweek 03 is Erling Haaland. He takes the captain’s choice for the third straight week considering an easy fixture for Man City. He was the highest goal-scorer last season and scored two goals in two games. The Norwegian striker can eye a brace or hattrick against Sheffield United. His ownership currently stands at a staggering 90.5 per cent. He should be the first choice for the captain in FPL.

Joining Man City’s Erling Haaland will be Bukayo Saka who continued best form this season. He will be a game-changer for Mikel Arteta in pursuit of title glory. Arsenal will take on Fulham and the Englishman can grab the opportunity to score. He was instrumental in the season opener. Saka netted 10 goals and registered 7 assists at the Emirates last season. He averaged 6.58 points per game in FPL.

Brighton’s surprise package Bryan Mbeumo will be our third choice who is the leading goal-scorer in the Premier League with three goals. Seagulls will meet Crystal Palace at home and Mbeumo has scored 23 points in FPL, the most by any player. He can score at least one or two goals to boost his position in top-scorers tally.

James Maddison will be our fourth choice as captain. Since the departure of Harry Kane, the Englishman has the responsibility to lead from the front. He made two assists in his debut game against Brentford and was also instrumental in an important victory over United. Spurs hosts Bournemouth who are coming off a big defeat in an away game so Maddison can target good points in FPL.

Differential picks for Gameweek 03

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson is our first pick and will remain at the top as a differential pick. He made his debut against Jurgen Klopp’s side and impressed against a tight defence of Virgil van Dijk. Posch also backs him to stay in the XI. He has had six shots and three big chances in first two appearances. Jackson can find his debut goal for the Blues when they play Luton Town at home.

Kaoru Mitoma is likely to stay with Brighton amid transfer rumours. He has been a key figure for Brighton’s two wins in the first two games. The Japanese provided assist in each game and helped Brighton to take the top position in the table.
