In scoring his five goals against RB Leipzig, the Norwegian striker became the youngest player to 30 UCL goals. He also became the fastest to reach that tally, as he reached 30 goals in just 25 appearances. At 22 years and 236 days, Haaland became the youngest player to score 30 goals in the UCL. Previously, Kylian Mbappe held this record, as he did it in 22 years and 352 days.

Both these players are far ahead of the duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This duo was older compared to Haaland and Mbappe when they notched up 30 goals in the UCL.
On the night, Haaland also celebrated becoming the fastest player to reach the 30-goal milestone, doing so in just 25 matches, beating Ruud van Nistelrooy’s previous record of 30 games. He also became just the third player in the history of the competition to score 5 goals in a single UCL game. Safe to say, Haaland looks to be one for the history books.
