The players will pay for the flight to Qatar that will land at Hamad International Airport in the capital, Doha. In addition to travelling to Qatar by a luxurious private jet, the England Wags will be spending their time in the country in a luxury cruise liner. As per reports, the decision was made due to the number of Wags making the trip.
Most of them will be travelling with children, some with nannies. “It will be an ‘official’ FA trip according to reports. They are looking at the private jet option as it is the easiest way of doing it. It will cost more than £100,000 because of the size of the group”, sources have confirmed.

English captain Harry Kane’s wife is expected to take their two young children along with her while Manchester United club captain Harry Maguire’s wife Fern Hawkins will take her two daughters and their nanny along with her. However, it has been strictly mentioned by the FA that the families cannot share the same accommodation with the players at any point of time during the World Cup.

Meanwhile, a list of do’s and don’ts has already been released by the FA and the Wags will have to comply with these guidelines. Owing to strict protocols fans and spectators won’t be allowed to have alcohol in public and moreover, the WAGs have been directed to “dress modestly” in public and at stadiums and have been warned that public displays of affection will “not be tolerated”. While watching the matches in the stadium, they cannot swear in public, play loud music, sing, shout or act “inappropriately” during the call to prayer.
England are placed in Group B at the World Cup alongside Iran, United States and Wales. They will be first seen in action on November 21 against Iran at the Khalifa International stadium in Al Rayyan.
