Argentina’s eye-catching purple-away jersey at this year’s Qatar World Cup will also have a powerful message associated with it, with sportswear giant Adidas saying the choice of color represented gender equality. The two-time champions will wear a vibrant purple kit for the first time in their history with its fiery graphics inspired by the Sun of May on their national flag. Argentina’s home kit however stays traditional with the iconic white and blue stripes.

The shirt, a departure from the country’s traditional navy blue and black away kits that received widespread praise from fans online, was modelled by captain Lionel Messi after it was officially presented on Monday.

One of the most successful nations to lift the World Cup, Germany has one of the finest jerseys in comparison to the other teams. The home kit brandishes a thick black stripe right down the middle making it classy. The away kit too looks classy with the red, black and gold color variants.
Though Spain has a plain and simple red colored home kit, it is the away kit that catches the attention of everyone. A light blue colored jersey with dark blue shades essentially gives a touch of the ocean. On the other hand, Mexico will feature its traditional green home kit. The away kit of Mexico is however special with a white designed kit with red borders.
