Erling Haaland: There seems to be no stopping Erling Haaland this season. The striker from Manchester City has been enjoying a fruitful season at the Etihad Stadium. He has been breaking records left, right, and center for the Cityzens this season. Until City’s game against Everton, Haaland had scored 35 goals in the Premier League, which broke the record for the most goals scored in a single season in the League. Erling marked his record Premier League goal tally by wearing customised boots – but was forced to change them after scoring AGAIN. Follow Erling Haaland LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN

To commemorate his 35 Premier League goals this season, the 22-year-old wore boots bearing the number 35 in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Everton. Haaland scored three goals against West Ham at the beginning of the month to set a new Premier League scoring record.

Naturally, Haaland scored once more in Sunday’s victory at Goodison Park. The Norwegian striker scored his 52nd goal of the season, heading past a diving Jordan Pickford. So that meant his boots needed an update. Haaland modified his shoes and shared photos of them on Instagram after the game. In what seemed to be a marker pen, he scratched out the number five on the number 35 and replaced it with a six.

It’s unknown whether today was the first time Haaland had worn the specially customised boots. He did take part in City’s games against Leeds and Real Madrid after breaking the record. Looking at how he has been playing and scoring for fun, it looks like he will certainly need a couple of new pairs before the season ends.

Gundogan takes City one step closer to PL title

It looks like it will be yet another season wherein Manchester City will be lifting the Premier League trophy. If Ilkay Gundogan is going to leave Manchester City this summer, he is determined to bow out in style. The club captain is out of contract in the summer but is on a mission to lead them to a fifth title in the past six seasons.

He scored both goals in the victory over Leeds the previous week, but he also missed a late penalty, and he repeated the feat at Goodison. Gundogan scored two goals, one on either side of the half, and also set up Erling Haaland to score his 52nd goal of the year with a nod.

Last year, the German international’s two late goals against Aston Villa decided the title fight after waiting until the last 14 minutes of the season. He is exerting every effort this season to prevent the conflict with Arsenal from dragging on. His first goal was beautiful as he clipped a right-foot volley into the corner and past Pickford’s helpless dive, with his back facing the goal.

With Arsenal’s 3-0 loss against Brighton & Hove Albion, the scene is set for Pep Guardiola and his lads. From their final 3 games, if they can gather 5 points, then they would have won the Premier League title. Man City face Chelsea, Brighton, and Brentford in their last 3 games. Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest and Wolves in their last two games.
