England 3-1 Italy: Harry Kane double guides Three Lions to Euro 2024

Harry Kane netted a brace as The Three Lions qualified for Euro 2024 courtesy of a 3-1 win over Italy at Wembley.

England vs Italy Live: UEFA Euro qualifiers – The Three Lions qualified for Euro 2024 with a 3-1 win over Italy at Wembley Stadium, thanks to a brace from Harry Kane. Gareth Southgate’s team just needed a point to guarantee their place in next summer’s finals, but they did so in style, winning the game and topping Group C. The win keeps the Three Lions top of the group with 16 points, three more than Ukraine, who has played one more game. Italy is third with 10 points.
England will now conclude their Group C campaign in November with a trip to North Macedonia following a home fixture against Malta.

England have been a force to reckon with in the UEFA Euro qualifiers. They are still unbeaten with a draw and 4 wins so far. With 13 points, the Three Lions are sitting at the top of the table. If they win this match, they will book their way into the finals with still 2 matches to go. They can also achieve that feat with a draw if Ukraine fail to beat their opponent Malta. They are also on a 12-game winning streak at home in Euro qualifiers.

Italy are just behind England in 2nd position in the table with 10 points. However, they are holding onto that position due to their head-to-head results with Ukraine, who are in 3rd position with the same points as Italy. The Azzurri last met England back in March when the Three Lions took their revenge for the Euro final win 2 years ago. They are approaching this match on the back of a 4-0 win against Malta. The Azzurri will look to extend that win and hinder England’s progress.
