Declan Rice Transfer News: Arsenal are in no mood to lose their hands off in the transfer window after slipping on the title this season to Manchester City. The club earlier extended the contract of William Saliba and now are going all in for Declan Rice. The West Ham captain has been on Arsenal’s transfer list for a long time and now the London team doesn’t want to lose on him even if it costs more than £100m.

West Ham agreed to sell Rice this summer but only if £100m the club is fairly compensated for his departure. Rice’s valuation also increased with West Ham’s victory in the UEFA Conference League and multiple teams like Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also keeping an eye on the move.
However, Arsenal have agreed to submit a bid of over £100m for the English midfielder. According to reports, the bid is yet to be made official but it will be soon on the table. If accepted by Hammers, Rice’s transfer will be the most expensive transfer for an English player surpassing Manchester City’s deal for Jack Grealish and Real Madrid’s summer move for Jude Bellingham.
Rice’s contract with West Ham will expire in 2024 and in order to not lose him for free, the Hammers are willing to sell the midfielder for a fee of more than £100m.
West Ham are also interested in Arsenal’s Emil Smith Rowe. A deal might help both teams get their target players.

However, this is not the only move the Premier League runners-up are looking forward to. Arsenal are expected to submit a bid for former City star, Joao Cancelo to strengthen their defence. Brighton’s Caicedo is another man Arsenal have on their list, but Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the race for the youngster.
After renewing Saliba’s contract, the Gunners are also looking to extend Nelson’s contract to keep him at Emirates for the long term.
