Ronaldo, however, seems to have made one last jab at Man United.
Around the same time, Ronaldo and Jacob & Co. collaborated to launch a brand-new watch.
The expensive hand watch features sapphire crystals, gold print, and jewel embellishments.
The Jacob & Co X CR7 collection is a profoundly personalized version of the Epic X. The skeleton movement offers striking architecture. Its two vertical pillars form the central part of the X-shape initiated by the lugs, whose entire design gave the name Epic X. The pillars are personalized to include the image and symbols of Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the watch’s face has a picture that will only enrage United further.
Ronaldo scored an iconic header that saw him jump over 9.6 feet in the air as he returned to Old Trafford with Real Madrid in the Champions League in February 2013.
And Ronaldo selected this image to adorn the front of his watch, announcing it at the same time United announced the veteran had been fired permanently.
