The charity match between Sidemen FC and YouTube All-Stars has become an annual occurrance. Additionally, it’s getting more and more famous every year. This year’s rendition included famous Youtubers like IShowSpeed, KSI, Kai Cenat, ChrisMD, and more. However, some particular moments of the match went viral. For example, when Cristiano Ronaldo fan Speed missed a penalty kick, and opposition goalkeeper KSI celebrated the miss with Ronaldo’s signature ‘siuuu’ celebration. However, it didn’t take him long into the match to ‘roll into’ a horrible own goal.
Sidemen were already a YouTube group since 2013. Back in 2015, they were invited by another Youtuber, Spencer FC to play a charity match. Since then, Sidemen host a charity match against YouTube All-stars where several famous Youtubers take part every year. The match also gets more famous with every year. This year was their 5th charity match against the YouTube All-Stars. It included famous Youtubers, like IShowSpeed, KSI, Kai Cenat, ChrisMD, TBJZL, Theo Baker, and more. The match was hosted at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The YouTube stars played the match in front of a sell-out 62,000 fans at the stadium. The match ended in a 13-goal thriller where many of the stars shone. Sidemen won the match by an 8-5 margin against the YouTube All-Stars. It seems several moments of the match went viral. One of those moments was when IShowSpeed faced KSI who was playing as the opposition goalkeeper. Speed, who is a renowned Cristiano Ronaldo fan, took a horrible penalty. The ball almost trickled towards the goalkeeper KSI’s hands.
As the ball missed the back of the net, KSI ran towards a distraught Speed and hit his idol’s ‘siuuu’ celebration. However, KSI put the ball away for a corner in an attempt to clear. The YouTube All-Stars scored from the corner. Max Fosh put the ball behind the net from the edge of the box. It didn’t take long for KSI to regret his premature celebration when he ended up with his own goal. He held a ball coming to him and rolled over the goal line with the ball in his hands.
