Cadiz vs Barcelona LIVE: Barcelona match halted for fan emergency
Barcelona’s game against Cadiz has been halted due to a medical emergency in the stands. The Catalan giants were 2-0 up before the match was stopped in the 86th minute, after a medical emergency was spotted inside the stadium.
Cadiz goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma ran to fetch some medical kit before sprinting to and chucking it into the stands as both sets of players understood how serious the situation was.

The players have walked off the pitch and are now huddled in the tunnel. The referee informed the stars of both teams the fixture was paused.
The players remained on the pitch throughout, and some were seen praying, until they were eventually taken into the dressing rooms after around 15 minutes of waiting.
Frenkie de Jong had put Xavi’s side ahead with an emphatic finish, before Robert Lewandowski continued his impressive record in front of goal 10 minutes later as he tucked home.
