After four minutes, Haaland put his team ahead. In the 36th minute, he smashed another first-time finish off the bar. In the second half, Rodri added a third before Anass Zaroury was shown a straight red card after a VAR review for a brutal tackle on Kyle Walker.

City didn’t have it easy, as Kevin De Bruyne suffered another injury in the first half. The ease with which they picked up the three points, however, is a worrying omen for the rest of the Premier League.

City’s Kevin De Bruyne had to be removed early due to injury, while Burnley’s Anass Zaroury was sent off in second half added time after a VAR check and monitor review by referee Craig Pawson on a late challenge for Kyle Walker.
