Arsenal, City & United fight for Marc Guehi, Palace demand huge asking price

Crystal Palace hasn't set any asking price on the player and Guehi has the value which can help any club to improve in the defence. If Palace sell him out in the winter transfer window, they will surely get a big price and it could break the club record in transfer fee.

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is currently the hot property among the top Premier League clubs. The defence is the area where these top three want to invest. As per reports, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are showing interest in the 23-year-old. Meanwhile, these clubs have to deal with the asking price as well.

Arsenal are the frontrunner in the race to sign Guehi. The Gunners are huge admirers of Guehi. The Englishman is a vital player at Crystal Palace and they don’t want to lose him in the winter transfer window. The centre-back could boost the defence area of Mikel Arteta. They have invested in midfield and striker options in the previous two transfer windows.

Manchester City are also looking to get the centre-back in their squad. Pep Guardiola is aware of the current situation and they are looking to boost the squad in the January transfer window. The bidding war will continue as they will face the task from their city-rivals Man United.

The same club sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Man United for a record £50 million.

Guehi made a move to Crystal Palace in 2021 for a permanent £18m after 18 months on loan at Swansea from Chelsea. The 23-year-old defender has been regular for Palace and he continued his top form in the Premier League. He also made into the Three Lions squad last year. He is currently one of the best defenders in the league. His contract with Crystal Palace will end in 2026.

Tottenham and Chelsea are also linked with the club. The Crystal Palace defender might be the best choice for both clubs. Chelsea have shown their intent in the summer transfer window. The Blues defeated Liverpool for two midfielders by hijacking the deals. They are struggling in the top-flight and they need a centre-back in the transfer window.
