Two former Man City men could miss a reunion with their former employers on Sunday. Gabriel Jesus is yet to recover from his previous knee injury. He will miss the first few weeks of the season as he is set to undergo a small surgery. Oleksandr Zinchenko is the other ex-Cityzen that could be missing the match as he’s out with a calf issue.
The Gunners have a few more injury concerns. Reiss Nelson is sidelined with a toe injury, Mohamed Elneny is out due to a knee issue, Folarin Balogun is recovering from a foot injury, and Albert Sambi Lokonga is nursing a muscle problem. The Croatian defender who has cost Man City €90 million, is set to arrive at Etihad before the Cup final. However, it seems unlikely that he will be featured in this match on Sunday. Another new arrival in this transfer window, Mateo Kovacic could make his competitive debut for the club on Sunday.
