Angel Di Maria: It seems as though Inter Miami is not going to hold anything back. Now that they have confirmed the signing of Lionel Messi, they are looking to strengthen their team even further. If reports are to be believed, they are looking to rope in Messi’s Argentine teammate, Angel di Maria to their team. They are also looking at Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets to move to the MLS as well.
Angel Di Maria only recently joined Juventus but it looks as though their journey has reached a halt. The end of the month marks the expiration of his contract with the Serie A powerhouses. The attacker’s departure from the Bianconeri as a free agent has been confirmed.
In February, The Daily Mail revealed that Di Maria was one of the superstars Inter Miami was interested in signing. He is therefore a contender to travel to America this summer alongside Lionel Messi.
Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets have always shared a good rapport with Messi and would be looking forward to joining him in the MLS. Messi and Angel Di Maria share a really good friendship as well, as they have shared a changing room in the Argentine National Team. The two have played 105 games together for La Albiceleste, combining to score 12 times. For PSG last season, they also shared the field 24 times.
It would make a scary team if Inter Miami could sign all the players they are linked with. The MLS team with Messi, Di Maria, Alba, Luis Suarez, and Busquets would be scary. But getting them all together would mean a lot of money and it will be interesting to see how Inter Miami will be able to accommodate them all.
