The superstar striker also shared his special journey to top-flight Football and valuable insights to the boys from North East & Plate Teams. In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Chhetri can be seen as a pro fielder.

Chhetri showed shades of Mohd Kaif in a short video shared on a micro-blogging website.
In a gratitude post, BCCI wrote, “NCA’s Neighbour, Indian Football Captain and Legend, @chetrisunil11 dropping by on Sunday evening.”
“He had a delightful fielding competition and shared some learnings from his own incredible journey in Football with the boys from North East and Plate Teams.,” he added.
Not many know that the international footballer is the third-highest active scorer after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the current era. The legend has made more than 100 appearances for both India & Bengaluru FC in Indian Super League.
This is not the first time Chhetri is seen on a cricket field. He shares a great friendship with another fitness icon Virat Kohli.
