Now In Qatar, Argentina will turn their full focus to the group stage matches of the competition. The onus will be on Messi to perform well and lift the silverware in what appears to be his last world cup.

Scoring five goals past UAE, high-flying Argentina demonstrated why Lionel Messi & Co are the favourites heading into the World Cup. Angel Di Maria bagged a brace and an assist in the rout. Talisman Lionel Messi was also on the scoresheet as Argentina took down minnows United Arab Emirates at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
After their match, Messi and Co reached Doha where Argentina will start their camp before taking the field on Wednesday against Saudi Arabia. The Argentina team flew to Doha in their famous Jet which bears pictures of the players of the team. With their win yesterday, Argentina have now extended their unbeaten record to 36 matches.
