xQc can’t escape the Bing Bong meme

While streaming Tarkov on December 16, the former Overwatch pro encountered a player he wasn’t sure was friendly or an enemy.

“Yo, what’s up man. What’s the code?” he asked them.

The player replied, “Uhm… Bing Bong!”.

He was not pleased, “Ah, okay, man. But how can you snipers act like you’re not snipers before you meet me? I don’t get it. It’s so lame.”

An additional player showed up shortly thereafter and responded the same way, “Bing Bong!” to what the code was. When the final person showed up, and upon being asked what the code was, yelled “Bing Bing Bing Bing!”

As the streamer cracked a smile, he laughed as well as felt frustrated: “Oh my f***ing god! I can’t, dude! ” Despite being caught by stream snipers who knew he was xQc, a hilarious clip nevertheless resulted from the situation.

What does “Bing Bong” mean?

Most New Yorkers are familiar with Sidetalk’s signature ‘bing bong’ sound long before it became popular. Due to the fact that it is the exact sound played by MTA trains when they alert riders not to step into the door. Despite the “bing bong” sound appearing in the Sidetalk intro since 2019, it is only recently that it has become so wildly popular on social media.
