Popular Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys in one of her recent streams shared a personal and touching story with her fans. As we are all familiar with how it goes for the streamers who share stories, give out messages, make fun, interact with their viewers. Poki is a cat person and as already known she has a cat by the name of Mimi. She is crazy about her little baby. Mimi was adopted in June 2018 and they’ve become inseparable since then. We also catch glimpses of her in Poki’s streams, which undoubtedly uplifts the mood of her viewers.
By now you all must have guessed the incident is about Poki and Mimi. But to everyone’s surprise, it was about Poki’s assumption of Mimi being kidnapped only when she was unable to find her cat after her return home from New York on Christmas. The events unfolded quite in the usual manner where she frantically searched for her beloved cat around the house and also called out her name several times, but couldn’t find her.
“I had my camera out because I wanted to film Mimi’s reaction to me coming in after not seeing me for a full week,” said Poki. After she opened the door, to her displeasure, Mimi was nowhere. This led her to believe Mimi must have been kidnapped in her absence.

To her relief, Poki had an AirTag attached to Mimi’s collar. But after she tracked it down she found that the AirTag and collar had been completely detached. This is when she started to panic.
Later, after she contacted her manager to get some details about this entire situation she was in, was informed, “The girl that was coming into your apartment to feed your cat took it back to her apartment with her. She kicked the AirTag off, and it was hard to put it back on.”
“Apparently, Mimi wasn’t really eating her food,” said Poki. “The girl was worried, so she just brought her back to stay in her apartment. I messaged the girl, and she was like, ‘My bad. I should have told you.”
Poki finally heaved a sigh of relief after receiving the good news but was kind of upset to have gone through all of these rights after getting back home. “Your pet is like your child”, she said. Quite true, as many of you who house a pet can relate to her feelings. Hopefully, Poki doesn’t have to face such a situation in the future.
