VCT Challengers Indonesia 2022 Announced: The format of VCT Stage 1 for Indonesia has been announced by Riot Games in collaboration with its partner organizer OneUp. Following the VALORANT Championship Tour’s successful maiden season in Indonesia, the developer is doubling down with a US$25,000 prize pool boost for Stage 1. Fans are impatiently awaiting the outcome of intense confrontations between big teams and up-and-coming underdogs in upcoming VCT Indonesia.
VCT Challengers Indonesia 2022 Roadmap, Format, and Prize Pool
Following the success of VALORANT Champions 2021 in the grand final between Gambit and Acend, VALORANT has released the VCT 2022 calendar. The VCT Challengers will be present between February and March, making it the first official event of 2022, according to the calendar. There was recent word that registration for VCT Challengers Indonesia 2022 will be open from January 3 to 15, which will take some time.

VCT Challengers Indonesia 2022 Announced: Know Tournament Format, RoadMap and Total Prize pool
Only three teams will advance from the VCT Challengers Indonesia Playoffs to the VCT Challengers Asia Pacific (APAC) Playoffs. There are two open qualifiers in the VCT Challengers Indonesia format: the first is for 128 registrant teams to 32 teams, and the second is for 32 teams to 13 teams. The 13 teams will compete in a group round alongside three invited teams, with only eight teams qualifying for the knockout round.
Starting on February 11, the main event of VCT Stage 1 – Indonesia Challengers will take place. Sixteen teams will be divided into four GSL groups, with the top two teams advancing to the double-elimination playoffs. The top three finishers will advance to the VCT Stage 1 – APAC Challengers Playoffs. This tournament has a total prize pool of 25,000 USD or the equivalent of 18 Lakh INR.
This announcement causes professional players to tighten up their training in order to make the most of this opportunity and qualify for the VCT Masters or VCT Champions in 2022.
