The Apex Legends Global Series aka ALGS Split 1 Playoffs concluded on high note as UNLIMIT from the APAC North region captured the championship title at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Paris. The Japanese squad delivered a composed performance in one of the most competitive Match Point Finals in ALGS history, securing the final victory when it mattered most.
Apex Legends Global Series Split 1 Playoff Ended with UNLIMIT Crowned Champions
This event took place on July 11, 2026, and was held using the unique Match Point system for the ALGS, with a qualifying score of 50 points. The teams had to collect 50 points first in order to qualify for championship qualification through a match win.
These finals turned out to be long-running since 11 out of 20 teams became eligible for the Match Point, making this tournament lobby the most unpredictable one of all time. As more than half of the participants were just one match away from winning the trophy, every circle and team battle was crucial.
UNLIMIT ultimately emerged victorious, and yulariman, Xtsuvi, and Peace17_yt played amazing games during the finals to secure the championship match.
